Education System in Germany

The German education system is considered to be one of the best education system in the world. German universities are well equipped with research facilities. The cutting edge technology provides an excellent opportunity for students to be a productive manpower for an industrial as well as an academical career upon the completion of their course in Germany. So far Germany has produced more than 75 Nobel Prize winners. This is an attestation of a high level of academical research and teaching in Germany.

Most of the German universities are governmental universities. They have a very high standard of teaching and research. Public universities are in general a better option for foreign students because they do not charge a tuition fee. However these days many public universities have started charging tuition fees but they are still very nominal compared to the private universities. Living in Germany

The Federal Republic of Germany is one of the highly developed countries in Europe. Foreign students living in the Germany may face the difficulties in the beginning regarding transportation, lodging, fooding and so on. Languages would be a big hurdle for each student in the beginning. Depending on the states and city, it ranges from 300 to 500 Euros per month including accommodation and fooding. One who enters as a student in germany with a 90 days visa will be extended further as a resident permit. For more detail please check here

You are also allowed to work for 90 full days in a year. Some of the students are allowed to work only in semester break. Job is a major problem for students; it is easier to find job in big cities than countrysides. There are number of job agencies or broker organizations , which will provide jobs to students, part time or fulltime. Such a broker organization is generally based locally on individual cities.

Often jobs are announced internally in each university. One needs to contact their respective professor and the university authorities responsible for jobs.
